What we collect
When you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password. When you create a short link, we store the original URL, the generated short code, and a timestamp. When someone clicks a short link, we log basic analytics data: device type, browser, referrer URL, and country. We do not collect names, phone numbers, physical addresses, or payment information.
How we use it
Your email is used for authentication and account recovery. Link data is used to perform redirects and display analytics in your dashboard. Click analytics are aggregated and displayed to help you understand how your links perform. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We do not run ads. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party analytics on our site.
Cookies
We use a single authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party cookies of any kind. That is it.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which runs on AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 encryption. We retain click analytics data according to your plan tier. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support.
Third-party services
We use Supabase for database and authentication services. We use Google Fonts to serve the Plus Jakarta Sans and DM Sans typefaces. We do not integrate with any advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers. Your data stays between you and Trym.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your link data from your dashboard. To request data deletion or ask questions about this policy, email us at paul@paulyerrick.com.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your explicit consent.
